Cole awoke with a jolt. His alarm clock had scared him out of his sleep as it usually did. He really didn't feel like getting up yet but he knew if he didn't his parents would be on his back as usual. He rolled over with a groan and looked at his black alarm clock. it read 8:00 A.M. He thought No human should ever have to get up this early...I should just go back to sleep and say my alarm never went off. Instead of following through with going back to sleep Cole slowly sat himself up in his bed. As he pulled off the blankets he shivered. It was so warm under the covers he thought to himself. He turned his body so his legs were hanging off the side of his bed and he lifted himself off of the mattress and let his feet down onto the floor. He walked over to his black wardrobe and opened it up to figure out what he was going to wear. He scanned it from left to right a few times and finally decided on a pair of black baggy cargo pants that had chains hanging from pocket to pocket connecting them and a black t-shirt with a tribal design on the chest. He began to walk out of his room and then he realized he had forgotten to grab his hoody. It was black with a white wing design down the back.
Cole walked to the washroom and brushed his teeth and combed his long brown hair. I don't know why I bother...I have nobody to impress Cole thought. He then turned and left the bathroom and went downstairs for breakfast. His mom had prepared eggs and bacon for breakfast. Cole sat down at the table and quickly started eating so he wouldn't have to sit there for much longer. His mom asked him "How did you sleep?" Cole replied in a groggy voice "Not that great...I'm still pretty tired." He continued to eat his breakfast as fast as he could. His mom started to say something but he finished his breakfast and quickly left before she could get it out of her mouth. He walked into the living room and quickly said good morning to his dad. Cole grabbed his wallet off of the coffee table and shoved it into one of his pockets and strode to the front door. "I'M GOING OUT AGAIN!" He shouted to his parents, knowing they weren't going to stop him.
Cole walked out and slammed the door behind him. He didn't know why he was in such a bad mood but this morning was just one of those days. He quickly walked down the porch and down the path until he reached his white picket fence. He opened that door and closed it carefully. Last time he had slammed it the fence had broken and his dad had made him pay for it, Cole wasn't about to take that chance a second time. Cole turned left down his street and started to head toward the market area.
As he entered the market all of the smells and sounds overwhelmed him and he didn't have any idea where it was coming from anymore. He began to leisurely walk through the market just browsing and looking at things that interested him. As he was walking by a jewelery stand he saw something that caught his eye. He asked the man behind the table how much it was. Once he found out he knew that he had to get it. So Cole quickly bought the jewelery that caught his eye. I hope she likes it... Cole thought to himself. The thing he had bought wasn't for him, but rather for a specific girl he had on his mind. This changed Cole's mood pretty quickly, he had finally begun to wake up and now he just got a great deal. Cole turned and left the market as quickly as he had entered.
There he was walking down his street again. His house came into view but Cole decided he wasn't ready to go home yet. He kept walking and went down the street the opposite way he had gone when he first left. Cole continued to walk, this time with a specific destination in mind. Cole strode very purposefully to the place he had discovered a few weeks earlier. Cole continued to walk and take the corners he had begun to become more and more familiar with. Cole finally saw the place where he had been heading. The open field with the pillars and playground parts. He smiled as he remembered the first time he had been to this park. That was a amazing night for him. He slowly walked in and retraced his steps from the first night he had ever been there. He went and sat on the far left swing again for a little bit just thinking. The first time he had come here he had been sad, this time he was happy. Cole sat there for awhile and eventually got up. He walked over to the ridge he had sat the first time he was here and just sat there looking out at the view he had taken in at night time and he saw how much it differed during the day.Its not the same...I should just wait until tonight and come back Cole thought to himself. He decided to sit down for a bit first. There he sat just looking out at the view that he had grown fond of over the last few weeks. He eventually got up and turned to head home.
His house slowly came into view again. He ran and jumped over his fence this time just because he thought it would be easier than trying to close it gently. He would have cleared the fence to if the chains hanging from his pants hadn't hooked on one of the pickets and flipped him onto his face in the air. Thankfully he landed on the grass so the impact wasn't to bad. Cole laughed at himself as he got up. Amazingly his pants were still in perfect shape. Cole walked to his door and opened it.
His parents called him to the table for supper. Cole walked in and sat down. He was so hungry already so he started serving himself. Him and his family discussed what had all happened during their days while they ate but to Cole it felt fake. Almost as if they only said anything because the silence made them uncomfortable. He answered all of their questions politely and excused himself from the table about a hour and a half later. By this time the sun was starting to set. Cole asked if he could go out again and his parents said yes.Was there any doubt they would say anything else?...its not like they really want me around, or want to spend time with me. Cole thought to himself. He knew exactly where he was going.
Cole followed the exact path he had earlier that day when he had gone to the park. He was pretty sure he even walked on the same side of the road. He knew where he was going and he couldn't wait to get there. Cole began to run to get to the park. As he neared it he began to run faster. He came to the edge of the field and began to walk again. He slowly walked up to the ridge and sat down. He had gotten there just in time to take in the sunset. He sat there watching the sun set in front of him and just taking in the beauty. He sat there as if waiting for something. How he wished she was here...

Having just arrived home from her trip to the muggle world, Delilah was feeling really energetic. As she finished off yet another letter to her friend Cole, she decided to maybe head back to where they first met. She grinned at the thought of that night, and went to go change into something more comfy. She pulled out her dresser drawer and picked out her old grey sweat pants. Changing into her dark green hoodie, which was thrown over a white tank top, she decided it'd be cold, so she slipped on her white sneakers to top it all off. Her hair was a bit of a mess but she wasn't out to impress.
Delilah walked down the many flights of stairs, to the main living room where her parents were seated and simply talking and laughing. Delilah smiled at the scene before her, and hated to interupt her, but as she approached, they stopped talking and smiled at her. "Hey guys... just letting you know that I'm gonna go out for a bit." She said, smiling sweetly. Her dad stood up and hugged her, "Have fun pumpkin." He said without hesitation. Her mum smiled up at her, but her eyes said it all. She clearly thought it was too late for her darling daughter to be out so late.
Delilah reached down and kissed her mum on the cheek, "I'll be back soon, I promise." She said, as her mum's eyes relaxed and she nodded. Delilah smiled and walked out of the house, shutting the door gently and headed to her favorite park. It had always been her favorite park, even before she met Cole there. She went to her backyard and picked up a tattered baseball, which quickly sent her into a spiral of wonder, before she landed on her feet, only a few blocks away frmo the park.
As she strode through the park, she crossed her arms infront of her, thinking that Cole's jacket would have came in handy... Apparently the hooide wasn't enough to keep her warm... Speak of the Devil... She thought to herself, as she spotted Cole taking in the last moments of a sunset. Was this going to be where they always met? Delilah strode up behind him with a huge grin on her face, she was always the prankster...
Creeping up behind him ever so daintily, she held back her hair when she bent down really close to him, and whispered in his ear, "Hello stranger..." Seemed as though she wasn't in a tripping mood today.

Cole didn't hear or sense anyone or anything behind him. So when he heard Delilah's soft whisper in his ear He shot up incredibly straight. [WHAT THE...holy crap...its her...[/i] He thought to himself. He stood up and turned slowly to face her with a huge smile on his face. He looked Delilah up and down about three times before it finally dawned on him that he hadn't been dreaming about the angelic voice ringing in his ear so softly. Cole was in his own little slice of paradise in this moment as he realized that what he had been longing for had come and found him. "Woah! How have you been?" Cole asked Delilah. HE was just so happy to be here with her. This was after all the first place they had met.
Now that she as here there was nothing that could possibly bring his mood down. Cole once again noted how beautiful Delilah looked. The sunshine on her face made her skin glow warmly. She really did look like an angel. He slowly motioned at the glowing sunset and asked "Will you...uh....that is if you want to...do you want to watch the rest of this with me?" He asked Delilah, a little unsure of himself. Cole looked at Delilah and said "Wait a minute, let me try that again...do you want to watch the sunset with me?" He continued to look at her and smile the happiest smile he had smiled since the first time they had met.

Delilah laughed, feeling Cole straightened beneath her. As he rose, he literally took her breath away. He was so much taller than he remembered, but still every bit as handsome. Delilah's smile widened as he stared at her up and down. "Yes Cole, I'm for real." She said, giggling, and finally, she just couldn't help herself. She hugged him, for real this time, none of this bloody knee, carrying crap, no it was a real hug, one usually shared between friends... Or perhaps more. "Woah! How have you been?" Delilah laughed yet again, "Awesome, you?!" She asked, finally pulling away so she could take a good look at him.
Cole still looked so good in the moon light, and she couldn't help but beam up at him. They hadn't known each other that long, but Delilah felt close to him already, like he could be replacing Sophia, her current best friend. She looked down and sighed, "It's really great to see you again." She said, fidgetting with her hands, a bad habit she had when he was both nervous and eager.
Suddenly, Delilah was quite aware of her appearance. Non-chalantly, she pulled up the hood part of her hoodie, over her head, and quickly smoothed down her hair under it. She was kicking herself mentally, wishing she would have taken that little amount of extra time to actually look nice. She now crossed her eyes in front of her again, and was still smiling at Cole, triyng not to feel self conscious.
Delilah smiled and blushed when he asked her to watch the sunset with him, "But of course." She said, deciding she'd be comfier on the the ground than standing, so that's what she did, she sat, and as she looked up at Cole with big green eyes and a porcelain doll smile, she patted the ground next to her, hoping that he'd take up her offer, and sit next to her. "So Cole." She started, feeling a little bit warmer, that must've been his doing, "What're you doing out here, yet again?" She asked, looking from him to the sun just about to set.

Cole's heart began to soar as Delilah hugged him. It was the the best feeling hug he had ever recieved in his life. It took everything away from him, and in that moment it was just him and Delilah. He didn't have any worries or cares, all he could think of was her, and those beautiful eyes, her soft, smooth face, her perfect height, even her curviture of her body was perfect to him. In that moment nothing else mattered to him but her. It seemed like a hug between friends, but it felt like something that meant a whole lot more. She honestly is my best friend... Cole thought to himself while she held her embrace on him.
He loved it to see Delilah so comfortable with him right away this time. As she patted the ground beside her Cole had to fight from diving in right beside her. He slowly lowered himself down to the ground beside her. As he began to position himself on the ground in a comfortable manner he placed his hand on top of hers by accident. He began to turn red and was about to move it when he decided to leave it and see what happened. He moved in closer beside Delilah so that their arms were touching. Cole's heart was racing as he felt her hand and her warmth on him. He remembered he had to answer her question though, so he turned to her and said "I was out here remembering the best night of my life and missing the best friend I have ever had." He stared at her for a little while and asked "And what are you doing out here m'lady?"

Delilah smiled as Cole so eagerly sat next to her. Sometimes, there could be heaven on earth, you just had to look in the right places. As Delilah looked out at the sunset before them, she beamed almost as brightly as the sun itself, just knowing that Cole was next to her, with his hand on hers. Wait, what?! She thought to herself, looking at his hand on top of hers. As she looked up, her eyes met with his and it was evident to her that he didn't do this intentionally.
But he didn't seem to want to move. Delilah's face grew red from a blush, but also from a small bit of anger. What was he doing? They barely started getting to know each other, and she didn't want to come across as easy... She didn't just let her emotions get to her, and as much as she was enjoying the rush of feelings over come her, she knew better. Delilah gently slipped both of her arms into her lap and kept them there, unable to stop the blush, she refused to look at him but the nearly gone sun instead.
Delilah smiled and looked down, "Yeah, that was a good night for me too." She said, looking back at him, hoping that he didn't feel rejected, but rather it just wasn't the right time. Delilah's blush slowly returned. Did he really just call me his "lady"? She asked herself, btu she couldn't help but smirk at this. "Maybe I was doing the same thing as you..." She said, looking up at the sky once more. This time, the sun was just on the brink of the horizon, and had miliseconds left to shine. "Oh look! Look!" She said, pointing and bouncing like a small child, not wanting to miss that last bliss filled moment where the sun shot forth one last white burst of light.

Cole didn't mind it when Delilah moved his arms into his lap. That could have gone a lot worse... He thought to himself. Cole turned to face her after she moved her arms in such a gentle way and said "Sorry...I don't know what I was thinking...I shouldn't have done that, its just so hard not to when you like someone so much." WHAT?! WHY DID YOU TELL HER THAT...YOUR A FREAKING IDIOT COLE! Cole's mind was screaming at him. ...Maybe she won't take it the wrong way He thought. Cole tried to reassure himself desperately that she hadn't heard what he said. Oh how wonderful it was just to be at Delilah's side. It gave him a real hope for his life. A hope he hadn't had in a horribly long time. Cole slowly became more and more red just thinking about the comment he had made when trying to apologize.
Delilah responded to his question in a way he had not suspected. When she said that she was doing the same thing as him Cole became so red it was comparable to a sunburn. Thankfully Delilah had looked away at the sky in that moment and caught that the sun was about to go down for the rest of the night. She started to bounce and point at the sky in excitement. He had to smile because in this moment he saw a childlike innocence, and a childlike joy in her. To see that she could take such joy in things was absolutly amazing. Cole had never expected to see that in her. He took his gaze off of her at the last possible second and watched as the warm glow of the sun disappeared for the rest of that day. As the sun faded for good he turned to Delilah and said to her "You remember how I said I have something for you in one of my last letters?...Well it just so happens I have it on me...I hope you like it."Wow...I would give her everything I have and am...without hesitation.Cole thought. Cole began to slowly reach into his pocket.

"Don't worry about it so much Cole, you were just thinking what I was thinking." And as Delilah said this, she could feel herself flush and wonder if that was the right thing to say or not. Before Cole would think that maybe he should grab her hand again, she stiffened in her position and said, "But there's a time and place for everything..." She added quickly, feeling herself get even redder than before. They might as well have been a couple of tomatoes. Delilah was just happy to be here in this moment, and she didn't want anything more than friendship ruining it at the time. Delilah patted Cole on the shoulder lightly, trying to ease the tension. "Let's move on shall we?" She asked, a small smirk spreading across her lips.
It wasn't a habit of Delilah's, but she often let her real self shine to others, but the whole child like thing, definetly wasn't something she let loose. Delilah let out a tiny sigh as the sun finally disappeared, and turned to smile up at Cole. She had seen many sunsets with her family, but not even all of those combined could compare to the one she had just witnessed with Cole. It was something close to magical, even in a muggle world.
Delilah nodded, remembering how she hadn't replied to that letter, running out of parchment paper, and although she was mad at this, she had to accept it, and it would seem that fate had this day planned for them anyways. Delilah couldn't help but feel special, and smile broadly when she heard that Cole had something for her, and not only that, but he brought it with him. Delilah couldn't help but get really giddy as he reached to get it.

Cole was so thankful that Delilah hadn't made it awkward. In fact if he understood her right she liked him to. He decided right in that moment that he was going to be her friend before anything else. He was so glad that he had watched this sunset with her. It was something altogether amazing. He had never taken the time to slow down and watch a sunset with anyone before.
Cole fished around in his pocket for a bit and finally he found the bracelet he had bought earlier that day. It was a extremely delicate looking bracelet, it was silver and it had a vine and flower design engraved into it. Each flower was uniform and the same except for one. It stood out from all of the rest, it made the rest look dull and lifeless. It was larger, and far more detailed than any other. As he removed it from his pocket it shone in the moonlight. Cole simply looked Delilah in her eyes and asked "May I have your wrist?"

As Delilah waited in anticipation, she couldn't help but wonder what it could be. Maybe it'd be something he made, like a song or something. Or maybe it'd be something he bought... And if so, for either one, how much thought had he put into the item? Delilah pushed those thoughts away, telling herself that if he didn't think highly of her, he wouldn't bother getting her anything. As the bracelet slipped out, Delilah could the silver of the it, and she let out a small "Wow..." As Cole looked into her eyes. Delilah let her own eyes scan his face and she smiled, followed by a blush, "You may." She said, reaching her hand out towards him, a hand that missed his touch already, even though she declared it wasn't the right time, she knew she longed to be closer to him...

Cole had never done anything like this before aside from the time he had put Delilah's locket back around her neck. He took her hand as gently as he could and pulled it closer to him. As he brought her hand close he could feel she was chilly. After I give her the bracelet I'll give her my hoody He thought to himself. As he drew her hand he took note of the size and the feeling of it. Cole offered a smile as he slowly rolled up Delilah's sleeve enought so that he might place that bracelet on her wrist, he then opened the bracelet and slowly placed it over her wrist. He continued to hold her hand as he closed it gently, doing his best not to pinch her wrist in the bracelet while he closed it. "You know, I bought this bracelet for you for a reason...I can't say what the reason is yet, but when the time is right you will know when to ask me to explain the story behind it." Cole said to Delilah in a soft voice. "I hope you like it." He said hopefully.I can't believe it fits so well... Cole thought to himself as he took a look at her wrist to see if it fit properly. He couldn't help but smile at how perfectly it suited her.
Suddenly Cole remembered that he was going to give her his hoody because he felt how cold she was."You feel cold." Cole said simply. He took off his hoody and put it around Delilah. He hoped so desperately that she wouldn't mind him trying to warm her. Cole turned to her after he had given her his hoody and offered the biggest smile he had ever let out around her. That smile was only for Delilah, and nobody else could ever bring it out of him like she did. I don't know how she does it... Cole thought as he continued to look at her eyes...they were so beautiful in the soft moonlight. This girl had him in a position where he would do anything for her but Cole wasn't sure if she knew that...

Delilah couldn't help but feel like Cole was the type of person who really liked hands. He had really strong rough hands, but she knew she didn't. He was always holding, or touching them in some way. Like the first time they met, Cole had held them to keep her on her feet, or earlier this evening, how he tried to hold hers yet again. And now, as he took her hand in his own, she couldn't help the blush running from her cheeks down to her neck. How could someone with such rough, and manly hands, be so gentle at the same time? As though she were a porcelain doll, and he didn't want to break her.
Delilah hand gently clasped over Cole's, both out of her craving for warmth, and he definitely was warm, and because she didn't want to make him feel awkward. Delilah looked from their hands to Cole's smiling face, and she couldn't help but smile back. As Cole rolled her hoodie sleeve up slightly, she had to bite her bottom lip to keep from gasping. She was a lot colder than she thought... Or maybe the fact that her only source of warm was being pulled off her skin. I should've worn a long sleeve shirt under this... Delilah thought to herself, forgetting who she was with only for a moment.
Delilah smiled as he delicately put the bracelet on her, and she couldn't help but smile. The only thing better than this trinket, was the locket her dad had given her, and this bracelet, had a totally different meaning. As he kept holding her hand with ease, she let him, but only for a few more moments. "You know, I bought this bracelet for you for a reason...I can't say what the reason is yet, but when the time is right you will know when to ask me to explain the story behind it." Delilah both blushed, and rolled her eyes. Her green eyes pierced through Cole's as she said, "Great... it better be good if I'm waiting for it." She said, ending it with a playful smirk, and a slight squeeze of the hand Cole was holding.
Delilah now took the time to stare at the bracelet, and take in all the details of it. Her grin only broadened as she realized that the most beautiful flower, represented her. Cole saw her not only as a beautiful flower, but the most beautiful flower. Delilah looked up at him now and smiled, "Like it? I love it..." She said, looking back down at the bracelet, scared to see what his reaction would be from her blunt words. Delilah usually wasn't honest when it came to her feelings, and usually tried to hide what she felt with sarcasm, or making fun of the person she was talking with. She sighed now, wondering if she'd ever be able to look someone in the eye when being honest with them.
"I am cold." She said, as Cole started to take off his hoodie and placed it over her. Delilah smiled brightly and using both her free hands, pulled it closer to her. Once again she could smell his scent coming from it, and she unintentionally buried her nose into it, and kept it there, telling herself she was only trying to stay warm, when really, she was breathing him in. Delilah looked up at Cole without using her head, only her eyes, and even though her eyes were the only thing that could be seen because the rest of her face was buried in a black hoodie, anyone could tell she was smiling under there, because sometimes, eyes could be the gateway to the soul.
Delilah found herself only smiling because he was though, and that made her smile more genuine, and more bright. The small girl popped out of her warmness only for a moment to say, "Thank you." before going back to only being able to see her eyes. She actually felt warm now, thanks to Cole. He seemed to be her personal hero lately... Something she didn't particularly mind, nor did she want it to change. As Delilah looked up to the sky now, she could see a few twinkling starts here and there. They were usually clouded up by all the light coming from the park, but tonight, there were a select few. "I don't know which are prettier..." She started, still looking up, unable to notice that the hood part of her hoodie had fallen off her head, "the stars, or the sunset." She said, smiling up at nothing in particular.

Cole's smile just grew when Delilah said that his reason had better be good if she was waiting for it. He knew that she was kidding around in a serious way. He only hoped that she liked the reason he had bought it. To him, she represented the most beautiful flower on the bracelet, it was located in the center of all the other flowers also, this signified to Cole that she was the center of his attention when it came to girls. Cole absolutely loved holding her hand...he thought that he sensed she wanted him to but not yet. All that Cole did know was that she made his year when she exclaimed how much she loved that bracelet. Cole couldn't help but blush when she told him that. Great...now I probably look like a fire truck... He thought to himself. His thought process got interrupted though, when he felt Delilah lightly squeeze his hand. His heart soared at the highest it ever had in that moment. He loved feeling her hand in his, and when she squeezed it he felt something inside that told him that there was more than just friendship between them.
After Cole put his hoody over Delilah, he caught her sniffing it a little bit, at least thats what it looked like. He looked again and he realized she was just burying herself inside of its warmth and was trying to cover up as best she could while still looking at him. Cole kept looking into her eyes, and he could see just how happy she was to be there. He couldn't help but smile. He was smiling because of how much she was smiling. He had never before really shared someone else's joy before. I like this so much...she has me captivated...her being happy makes me happy...its never been like this before... Cole thought. As he looked back at her smiling he could see her smile growing. While he watched hers grow he could feel his own growing bigger and bigger. He heard Delilah say "I don't know which are prettier..." as she looked up and her hood fell off...She is so beautiful... Cole thought to himself. Delilah continued to speak and finished her sentence previously started with " the stars, or the sunset." Cole simply looked back at her and said "Both are beautiful...but they don't compare to you."
Cole quickly looked down realizing what he had said. He felt his face get hot. He knew for a fact he was blushing like crazy now. He knew if she responded correctly that all the embarrassment he had caused himself would be worth it. He just hoped for all he was worth that Delilah took his comment well. Cole did not want to screw it up but he was worried that he might have done just that with his last comment. What if she doesn't ever talk to me again... Cole's mind was racing now. He wanted to run away, but he knew he had to be a man and stay right where he was. He just waited to get hit, or for Delilah to walk away from him. Cole knew he may have gotten himself into trouble now but it all depended on Delilah now.

"Both are beautiful...but they don't compare to you." Was what Delilah heard Cole say... Her head looked to him now, her eyes searching his face only for a moment before his head looked away. She grinned, wondering if he had the same problem she did when it came to honesty. Delilah simply thought Cole was adorable for what he said, and as he kept looking down, obviously waiting for a reaction from her, she said, "Now how am I supposed to say to that Cole Bartlet?" A warm smile was spread across her lips as she waited for him to have to courage to look at her again. If he did, he would be able to see the earnest longing in her eyes, something that said she wasn't going to leave, but that, she loved to hear things like that. They had a long way to go in terms of getting to know each other, but this was a good place to start.

Cole slowly looked back at Delilah, as he did a smile spread across his lips. He saw that look in her eye that said that she wanted him to say things like that and so much more. He couldn't help but feel relieved knowing that Delilah wouldn't take the things he said the wrong way. Cole had no idea how to respond after she asked him "Now how am I supposed say to that Cole Bartlet?" He simply looked Delilah back in the eyes and was content knowing she liked to hear these words come from his mouth. Cole did his best to forget that he had ever even worried about how she would react but he knew that inside her opinion really mattered to him. She is so freaking understanding of me... Cole thought. There was something altogether different about this girl but Cole didn't quite know what yet.
Cole had never had the courage to say the things he had said to Delilah out loud before he had met her, so he was wondering what about her let him say them now. Something about her always left him speechless. Something about her just relaxed him and allowed him to be himself around her. He didn't really feel uncomfortable around her aside from when he let his thoughts slip out before he could screen them. That was alright though; when he did let them slip out Delilah generally reacted well. It absolutely blew Cole's mind to realize that this girl had a place in his heart already.
Cole finally replied to Delilah's question. He answered her "With that beautiful smile and maybe if your feeling particularly generous a thank you....just don't take it badly." He hoped his response would make her laugh, and if it didn't, well there was already a smile for him to take in. Cole wasn't done talking with Delilah though. He continued to look into her eyes and stated "You know, even though I haven't known you that long I feel like I can tell you anything...you actually are who I would consider my best friend...I don't know how it happened, but there is just something about you that puts me at complete ease with the world and who I am." Cole paused for a few seconds and went on to say "I hope that doesn't freak you out or anything...but its just how I feel." Oh how Cole hoped that they could continue this friendship and watch it blossom into something truly beautiful. As Cole spoke he began to try and memorize how Delilah's face looked; every single detail. Cole knew that this very face was going to become an inspiration for quite a few songs he was going to write in the future.
It was something altogether different for Cole to feel inspired by a single person. Usually his lyrics were about the world around him and the way society works. Cole had never before been inspired by a single soul. Just looking at Delilah was inspiration enough for Cole. She is so freaking amazing...I don't know how I will ever be enough to come close to deserving any kind of relationship with her...I just know that she is a absolute inspiration to me... Cole thought. Like he had thought before, there was something different about her.
Cole stared intensely into Delilah's eyes with a look that could only be described as affectionate. He continued to look at her and breathe in every curve of her face. She is so beautiful... Cole thought. He continued to look at her and drank in her every word of response to his questions. How he loved that angelic voice of hers.
