Charlie had walked around during the last of her classes, figuring that skipping History of Magic wouldn't kill her. There wasn't much to be done there besides notes, anyways, and she would make sure to get notes from Drew or Hiro later on. So what a perfect occaision to wander aimlessly, and hoping none of the teachers would catch her. She had rounded the seventh floor hallway when she realized she may have forgotten her rubberball. As she dug through her bookbag, she encountered something else. Her ball was there, but that wasn't in her attention now. What was in her hand was one of those Chinese finger traps, a random gift given from her brother Dan who had gotten it during one of his trips out into the Muggle world. It seemed pretty harmless, and since he wasn't Mike (her other brother), she didn't expect it to be a big deal. Until it got caught on her finger. All she did was put on finger in there. But woe is her! It was stuck! Why wouldn't it get out? She stopped in her tracks, and continued to try to yank it out with frustration. "C'mon, c'mon..." She whispered angrily as she tried to pry her finger out of it. The only way this would get worse is if somehow someone else's finger got trapped on the other side. (Dunno what a chinese finger trap looks like? Here's a pic: )

Misaki managed to sneak out of class a bit early by using the 'I need to go to the nurse' excuse to get out of Transfiguration class. Even though it was something she would never do, she made the exception this time around. Only thing was that since everyone was still in class, there was no one to talk to or hang out with. Meaning the only thing left to do was go back to Ravenclaw Tower and take a nap before dinner.
Climbing down the stairs, Misaki made it to the seventh floor and found what looked like a Slytherin playing with a...straw? Or something like that. Well whatever it was, Misaki was not very familiar with it. "Hey, what are you doing with that?" she asked the girl pointing directly to the thing on her finger. "Looks like you glued it to yourself. Though I don't want to know why."

Greeeat. Just what she needed. A person to come up and ask her why. Though she was secretly relieved to see someone there. Maybe they could figure out why it wouldn't let go. "I dunno what's up with this damn thing, it won't come off my finger," She said as took a few steps toward the girl. Maybe having the girl yank it off could do the trick.

Misaki took another look at it, but she still couldn't tell what the thing was. "So what? Do you want me to pull it off or something?" she asked. Even though it would be her first thought, Misaki wasn't too sure if it would work or not. "Alright, here goes something." she said grabbing the other half of the...whatever it was and pulling as hard as she could.

Charlie figured that was a logical step and therefore let the girl come and yank it out until she felt the immense pressure and tightness form around her finger. "AAAAH crap!" She yelped out loud. This wasn't going well at all. She felt as if a small boa and wrapped itself around it and-- even worse-- the texture of the finger trap was scraping at her skin. "Lay off! Geroffah-it!"

Misaki automatically let go of the girl's finger. "Sorry. That thing is bound up tight isn't it?" Misaki looked more closely at it but it didn't help her at all. "So how did your finger get stuck in there in the first place?" she asked. "Was it sucked in or something?" Maybe that would tell her something so she could help get it off.

What a way to feel dumb. The only story she had to come up with was the most childish one. She was curious. But the humiliation was not to be revealed. "It just ended up there, man," she said grudgingly, wondering how dumb that was to say compared to 'I stuck my finger in it 'cause I was bored.'

(I think class would be out by now besides someone has to get stuck in the other end) Hiro was on his way back to the Ravenclaw commonroom after the History lecture, sidetracked by the moving staircases led Hiro to the seventh floor. Lady luck seemed to be a prankster because as chance would have it the sidetrack led him to a class skipper. "Like you ended up here instead of History." Hiro said calling out the skipper, unaware of the current trouble.

(YEAH! That's what I'm talkin' about)
Before looking towards the person currently trying to bust her for skipping, she called out, "I had to go to the bathroom, man!" But when she looked, some relief came over. Hiro wouldn't snitch, would he?
"Dude, you're not gonna snitch, are ya?" She said normally again, currently putting her finger trap on hold. "I've got stuff on you, too, Hiro," she added just to secure herself. What the 'stuff' was, she'd hope she could find it.

Hiro was about to comment on her hour long bathroom break when...did she just threaten him?
"Are you trying to blackmail me?" Hiro asked. Anyone who called Hiro a friend would know that out of all the people in the school he'd be one of the least likely to turn someone in. He didn't even write people up when he found them in the halls after hours while on rounds.
"Surely you want to reconsider that what with O.W.L.s coming up and you not having the notes from History." Hiro said as he pulled out his notes.

"Me? Blackma--ha! Heh, never said I was gonna blackmail you," Charlie said, her voice showing incredulity as well as laughter that tried to say that the threat was a joke. Please.
"You have the notes, really?" She started to ask, though it was a complete give-in. Since when did Ravenclaws stop writing notes for important classes? Well, before writing was invented...

"Well I did just come from class." Hiro took another chance to rub it in. "Though I'll have to translate them for you, here we go."
Hiro pulled out a blank parchment and started to hand it to her when it seemed one of her fingers was longer than it should be.
"Did you have an accident?" Hiro didn't mean to imply anything but in this place anything is possible.

(I guess we don't have to worry about leaving the third person behind -points above-)
"Kinda-Sorta," Charlie said with another disgruntled sigh as she tugged at the finger trap again. No cigar. "It's this weird thing. I can't get it off." She tried yanking it again, but yelped once more as she remembered this thing was lined with velvet or anything. "It's just stuck... wanna help?" She asked, although it came to be a hard request. Some stupid little thing and she couldn't get it out of her finger. Paaaathetic.

(Guess not)
"Well what is it?" Hiro grabbed the thing for a moment, it felt like the bags muggles put groceries in for you to carry home. It was really odd, not quite wood but thicker than parchment. It was while Hiro was inspecting the oddity when his finger slipped into the hole on the other end.
"Where did it come from?" Hiro asked not realizing that simply removing his finger was no longer an option.
(If I remember right they're made out of a cardboard-like stuff right?)

(actually, it's more of a bamboo)
Oh... crap. "What'd you just do, Hiro?" Charlie said, though she could see with her own two eyes. He was now on the other side of the chinse finger trap, and just like her, he could get out. "Now you're caught?!?" Tugging again, she was found with the same result, only this time was a bit different. When retracting, she could now feel the tip of his finger.
