Selena glanced up to look at the time. "Let's see," she said. "I won't make you stay here all day. That would be a watse of a perfectly gorgeous day. And since it's gone for this morning, I think you can go. Just so long as you promise you'll be back by oh," She looked up at the time again. "How does 10 sound?"

"Okay," Arianna gave a small nod. Drew still hadn't answered whether he would stay or not, but he had the whole day to decide anyway. For now, they could go find something fun to do. "Is there anything I need to bring? Besides pajamas? Oh, and the book?"

Selena thought for a moment. "No I can't think of anything else." She said. She thought for a bit more. "No the book and pajamas sound fine. I can't think of anything else you need and if you happen to think of it after you get here we can always send an elf. They're always glad to run errands for me if I can't always leave."

"Okay," Arianna slid off the chair, holding her hand out to the woman. She would be sure to bring at least those two items when she returned. Plus, maybe, a few snacks and her toothbrush. "I'll be back at ten, then."

"Alright," Selena said, shaking her hand. "Ten it is. And I'll be waiting for you. Hopefully I won't be called to another part of the castle. I don't think I shall. These first couple of days have been relatively calm. But I shall see you at ten, Ari. And don't be late."

Later that night, about ten minutes to, Arianna arrived in the Hospital Wing. She was ready for bed with the book and her favorite blanket in hand. It was one of those things she could rarely sleep without and, being nervous as she was, the girl had decided it would be best to bring it along.
"Miss Johnson?" Arianna called out, peering toward the end of the wing. Yes, they were early, but she was sure the nurse would still be here.

Drew followed behind, his own blanket and pillow in tow. He was already wearing pajama bottoms and a sweatshirt for sleeping in, but had also worn his dragon slippers that roared when he walked. He had also had the foresight to pack a backpack with necessities: apples, water bottle, brownies, potato chips, and a six pack of Mountain Dew.

"Right here dears," Selena called, getting up from her comfy chair in her room where she had been reading. "And it's Mrs. dear," she kindly corrected Ari. "Nice slippers," she told Drew. She did have a sense of humor when it wasn't a situation of life or death. "You have the book?"

One of his only complaints about this nurse was the whole 'dear' thing. It made him feel about five years old.
Still, she wasn't half bad and Drew greeted her with a big jump, letting his slippers say hello.

"They are truely amazing slippers," Selena said with a chuckle. "Think they're quite too loud for me to ever wear but did you use a spell or did you get them like that or what?" She was curious about these slippers.

"A spell? Heck now. My mum got these in a Muggle store back home," Drew answered, grinning at the woman. "They have a pressure sensitive thingie that activates the sound when you step on them."

"I wish I had some," Arianna commented, staring down at Drew's slippers as they talked about the footwear. Of course, anyone who knew of her gravitation to anything resembling a dragon wouldn't be surprised.
"Oh, and here's the book," she held the object in question out to the woman, her eyes still watching Drew's slippers are they roared.

"Alright," Selena said, taking the book gingerly and placing it on a high shelf. "Well they are still very neat." She gestured to two of the beds. "Make yourselves comfortable," she said. "Anything you need from me before you go to sleep?"

"A bedtime story?" Drew asked with just a hint of sarcasm behind his rougish grin. He tossed his pillow, blanket, and backpack on the farthest of the beds and plopped down after it.

"Can...can we push the beds a bit closer together?" Arianna asked, directing the question not only to the nurse, but to Drew as well. If they wanted to talk, they wouldn't have to be too loud about it.
