"I'm sorry," Arianna muttered again. Her hand reached under her pillow and she grasped the little pendent, for comfort more than anything. Even if Drew ignored her, she felt better knowing he was at the other end. "Not thinking straight....sorry. I...."
Muttering a few more 'sorry's, Arianna fell into a deep sleep, uninterupted by dreams or worries. She even slept through most of the morning, unknowing of her body's changing. By the time the sun rose, Arianna's skin had turned the pale green she had been complaining of earlier. Her eyes shifted to a round shape, spherical like marbles, and her nose and cheeks and even a few spots on her arms had produced small scales.

Selena was awake by this time, and she observed all the changes. "Interesting," she muttered. She would definately have to get the defense professor invovled. She thought she new a spell, but with the book and all she wanted to be sure.

Waking slowly, Arianna blinked a few times and looked around. She wasn't surprised to see the nurse, but had expected someone else to be there, too. Ignoring that fact for the moment, the girl sat up and stretched. It was then that she noticed that she had changed yet again. Only this time was different.
"It's getting worse," Arianna muttered looking over her elongated fingers. Her voice had also changed, coming out deeper than usual and bit gravelly. "Please tell me you can fix this."

"I think so," Selena answered. "Just hold on a moment. I want to consult your defense against the dark arts teacher." So sitting down, she scribbled off a quick note and going into her room, returned with an owl and sent her off. "I don't know if the book factor would affect the reversal." She explained.

Drew? The girl grasped her pendent again as the nurse spoke. She doubted Drew would want to talk to her, but she had to try again. I'm really really sorry about last night. I wasn't thinking straight. I shouldn't have...
"Ray...Raynor? You're going to get Raynor?" Arianna squeaked, distracted from her message sending. Oh, great. Now she really WAS in trouble. Arianna had hoped to take care of this without her head of house knowing a thing about it, but that had obviously just gone out the window. She could already feel her fears from last night returning, dampened only by the little bit of sleeping potion that had yet to wear off.

Selena nodded. "Is there a probelm with that?" Selena asked, sitting on the edge of the bed. She surveyed Ari again, trying to figure out why this girl was so distressed by this question. "I only need to consult her. I think I know what will work though. Pretty sure at any rate." She looked at Ari's pendant with a bit of curiousity.

'No," Arianna replied, thinking the exact opposite. Raynor would possibly find out anyway, so how could she stop it? Sooner was much better than later. She hoped anyway. "I just...What if it all goes away by the time you get her here? It always disappears after a few hours."

"I can owl her," Slena said. "And tell her to come at once. And if you don't think it would last that long, I do own a camera and I could take pictures if you preferred that. But I didn't think you would, that's why I never mentioned it earlier you see. I wouldn't take any pictures without your permission."

Drew had fallen asleep outsice of Ravenclaw, waking up early from the uncomfortableness of the cold stone floor. Moments later, he was outside the Hospital wing again, pacing the hallway. When he got Ari's truncated message, he frowned, but didn't enter, figuring she was interupted by the nurse.

"A camera?" Arianna shook her head furiously. She did NOT want any images of her like this being handed around the school. Not that the nurse would let such a thing happen, but Arianna still was weary. What she had to keep a photo in the girl's file for future reference and someone happened to catch sight of it and...No, Arianna didn't want to risk it.
"No. Raynor's fine," she claimed, her head bobbing in an odd part nod, part shake.

"Alright," Selena answered. "I'll owl her at once." She went over to her desk, scribbled a short note, and then looked for her owl, calling it softly. Once it came to her, she attached the letter and went to the window to let it fly out. "She'll be here shortly. Anything else you need at the moment dear?"

"Breakfast?" Arianna asked, even though she wasn't sure how she could keep anything down at this moment. She had no clue how much trouble this would bring her and didn't care to find out.
Letting out a long sigh, the girl lay back on the bed and stretched out. She had forgotten about the pendent in her worry and still did not know that Drew was just outside the wing.

Lucky for all the current occupants in the Hospital Wing it was early enough so that her first class had yet to begin and late enough to where she was not still abed. However, one of the before mentioned lessons was due to start in a matter of ten minutes and that put her in a slightly sour mood that she was going to be late for one.
However, it was lucky that the letter said that the nurse required the defense professor as apposed to Deputy or Ravenclaw Head of House. It could not be that severe.
Tamis had never been so wrong.
Seeing Drew standing outside of the Wing, Tamis frowned up at him, but did not comment; instead hurrying passed him into the room.
"Selena what seems to be the --" she cut off as she laid eyes on slight -- altered -- Arianna Marlow, not needing to complete her question.

Drew frowned when Professor Raynor rushed past him, but still didn't enter. If they had called the Head of House, something major was going on and he wasn't sure if he'd just be in the way or not.

Arianna tried to bury herself into the bed when she caught sight of Professor Raynor as the woman soared into the wing. It was useless that she do so, though, as the professor had already seen her. Arianna didn't dare look the woman in the eyes. What would be there? Concern? Anger? Would the girl be threatened with more detentions this year than she had had in all her time at Hogwarts? Now, more than ever, Arianna wished she hadn't forced Drew out of the Hospital Wing last night.
Drew? The girl tried again to call the boy with her pendent. I think I'm in trouble.
