"Yes i know. It's peaceful..." she said her voice growing quiet as she listened to the noises around her. Whenever she'd been hurting in the past this had been the pace she'd come to... the place she'd discovered to let vent all her frustrations.
"Mmm... that's my little secret," Verina said with a smile and a wink her eyes twinkling slightly as she returned his smile, "Can you keep a secret?" she said in a whispher though she was well aware that no one could here them from where they stood except maybe Frosty but who'd he tell.

Still holding Verina’s hand Jack continued to take in every bit of the surroundings. He was in aw as to how she could have found such a beautiful place and wishing that he had something back at home that compared to it. Looking back to Verina when she spoke he caught her wink and smile, which only made his smile widen. “It’s a very nice secret.” he said glancing back over to the waterfall.
“Ya. I’m pretty good at keeping secrets.” Jack said with a small laugh but matching her whisper. He wasn’t really sure why he had whispered only that Verina was and he just followed suit.

"I thought so but when it comes to things like this you still gotta ask," Verina said with a grin as she turned her head slightly to look at him since they stood beside each other. "To put it simply i tend to like to wander and... I'm curious," she said laughing slightly since that was one thing he probably allready knew about her.
"I decided that since this was my new home i wanted to try to investigate as much of it as i could. Did take me a while though to remember the exact path to take to get here," she said with a warm smile as she gave his hand a light squeeze, "I came here whenever i just needed to get away from everything."

“Really curious? I had no idea.” Jack said laughing with a smirk coming across his face. He knew her all to well for him to actually be asking the question in a serious light. From the first day he meet he knew that she was a curious person and mischievous one at that.
“This is a great spot just to get away,” Jack said looking at her and smiling. “I wish I had something like this near where I live where I could go to and just hangout when I wanted to.”

Verina stuck her tongue out at him slightly before smiling, "Haha real funny Jack," she said her smile remaining. "And i'm not that bad. I'm not that curious and i can behave," she said taking on a winning smile as she looked at him. "Yeah it really is. I loved it from the moment i found it. Only me and Frosty knew about it... and now you," Verina said her smile remaining as she gave his hand a light squeeze. "If you want we can share mine? I know its not near you... but we can," she said with a slightly sheepish smile.

“I am sure you can,” Jack said smiling and laughing at the fact that she had just stuck her tongue out at him. “I just haven’t seen that side of you before.” he said with a laugh that clearly said he was only kidding.
“I would love to share it with you. Well you and Frosty that is.” he said smiling at her and then looking around to see where that dog had gone. “It’s perfect,” he said his attention coming back to Verina.

"Uh huh?" Verina said her tone itself making it a question. She knew he was most just messing with her which she didn't mind... at the moment. "And yes i can behave," she added with a wink.
She gave him a sweet smile, "Okay. It's ours then from this day." Verina looked up at the sky for a moment to check how much time had perhaps passed. "I think maybe we should start heading back now in case my dad comes to call us soon."

“I’ll believe you.” Jack said with a smile at the effort of trying to keep a straight face.
“Great you can have this half,” he said smiling as he pointed away from the waterfall, “and I will take this part over here,” indicating the waterfall part of the land. He couldn’t help but laugh, which probably wasn’t the best thing considering she had said it to him sweetly. “Oh wait and Frosty can have half of your part.” he added remembering that the dog was there with them.
“Just kidding.” he said grinning looking into her eyes and giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Ya we probably should be getting back so he doesn’t worry when he can’t find us.”

"Oh so you get the best part of my post huh? I'd think i'd get the best part," Verina said her face taking on a slightly shocked expression at his words. "And to boot i gotta share mine with Frosty and i was being nice." She knew he was just playing with her but that didn't mean she wasn't slightly taken aback by his words.
But his next action completely erased her former thoughts of perhaps remaining a little angry with him. It had been unexpected which brought a slight flush to her cheeks but she'd enjoyed it. "You better have been kidding," she said smiling her eyes twinkling slightly. "Let's go then," Verina said not tugging him along this time behind.

“I was.” Jack said smiling slightly and seeing where Frosty had gone to so that they could get ready to head back towards the house. When Verina turned and started heading back he followed right behind her thinking that he would definitely have to plan a time to come back and visit this place it was so cool compared with the environment that surrounded his house. His house was just not an adventure to him anymore. He had covered almost every square inch of it and had seen most of what there was to see. This place on the other hand was totally foreign to him and he had only seen a little of it, but the little that he saw made him want to investigate further to see what else it held.

Verina smiled as they reached the hill once more and looked up at the climb they'd have to make once more. "Heh he makes it look so easy," she said with a slight roll of her eyes as Frosty made his way in almost a matter of seconds to the top.
Once her and Jack had reached the top she dusted of her clothes to get rid of the snow that collected before it could melt. "Think you'll be able to make your way back to our spot?" Verina asked with a smile since after all now it was their's and Frosty's though she didn't really have a choice when it came to that.

“Yes he does.” Jack said following Frosty’s progress up the hill and smiling. The dog seemed to fly up the hill and somehow Jack knew that it was going to be slightly harder for them to get back up it. He hadn’t really thought about going back up the hill when they had descended it, but figured that it would be good exercise, that is if he didn’t slip and go tumbling back down the hill.
Thankfully he didn’t go tumbling back down and made it to the top without any set backs. He too dusted himself off. “Probably.” he said with a grin and a laugh, “I’m sure eventually I’d find it one way or another.”

She couldn't help laughing slightly at that, "Just as long as you don't tell anyone where its at where okay." Verina smiled as she gave him a slight nudge with her side as she walked beside him. "Just ours," she said with a soft smile, "and Frosty's of course."
Josue who'd been consumed by his work hadn't realized how much time had passed until he noted that his room was darker. Not too dark but dark enough that you could put a light on. He stood up well aware that is appearance was a little disheveled. After he'd finished changing into clothes for the outdoors he set out to find Verina and Jack.
"There you two are," Josue said with a smile as he saw the two coming down the path back toward the house. He noted how close they were but didn't make known that he had. "You two ready?" he asked with a smile, "I reckon its about time for dinner."

“Okay. I won’t.” Jack said with a smile thinking that even if he wanted to tell someone where it was, which he didn’t, he was positive that they too would get lost in the process of looking for it. He wasn’t even that sure that he could manage to find it again. He probably could but he thought too if he did come back to the spot he would want to have Verina with him and he was positive that she knew how to get there. Smiling softly over in Verina’s direction he said, “Of course,” as he watched the dog bound on ahead of them.
“Ya I’m starving.” Jack said with a grin as they approached Verina’s father. He was feeling more comfortable around him for some reason that he couldn’t quite pin down. Maybe it had been that he thought her father had had time to absorb the news of them dating or that he had just gotten more comfortable with the idea over their walk that they had gone on. All he knew was that he was enjoying himself and the nervousness that was there when they had first arrived had pretty much evaporated.

A soft smile came to her lips at Jack's reply. Her own dad didn't even know about the existence of her little Haven. It only seemed fitting that Jack would share something she held close to herself. "Hey dad," Verina said as her dad approached them.
Josue smiled at the young man, "A huge work load or long trip tends to have that affect," he said with a slight laugh. It seemed that this evening was going to go allright after all. After his initial shock at the changes that had taken place to his only daughter Jack seemed worthy of his daughter's attentions. "So what do you think of Brecan so far Jack?" Josue asked with a smile as he began to walk beside the too.
Verina couldn't help smiling since it seemed that both her dad and Jack seemed to be getting along alot better. She also couldn't help noting that the two no longer seemed to be nervous or in a state of shock.
