The ground was quickly coming up to greet Seanna's face, and she greeted it with her own 'oomph' when her face finally met the not so soft ground. The Huffle stayed down there on the ground for awhile, trying to compose herself before lifting her head gingerly towards the area where the familiar Huffle boy's voice asked if she was all right.
"I think so" Seanna replied, not really sure if she was all right or not. The Huffle hadn't attempted to stand yet nor attempted to move any other part of her body, but she was able to lift her head up from the ground and the girl took that as a good sign that the rest of her body would be all right when she did eventually decide to stand up.
"Are you all right?" Seanna re-asked the question to Alexander for her brown eyes had fell on his form which was not only next to her, but also on the not so soft ground. The Huffle couldn't understand what had made Alexander fall, but her eyes spotted a towel that looked like the towel rack that she ran into and Seanna gave the boy an apologetic smile.
"I thought you were a towel rack" Seanna explained, feeling slightly silly that she did run into Alexander without noticing that it was him. It was only then she spotted the end of a wooden wand sticking out of Alexander's hand and the feelings of not quite trusting him that she had tried to squash down, came splashing back.
"Why... " Seanna began from the ground, brown eyes locked on Alexander's face as she tried to find a reason why on earth he would have a wand out a sixth year pool party. Seanna tried to push herself up to a sitting position, but all she could do was fall back on her knees as she stared at Alexander questioningly.

“And if you hadn't of invited Lucas that would've caused a number of problems between the two of you, and you and the other sixth years.” Lucas had to be invited to be included with the other sixth years, he was in Drew's class, he'd told her it was for the sixth year class, then he had to invite Lucas. “And I'm glad that you did invite him, because it really would've been mean not to of.”
“Thank you,” she told him. Felicity wanted her friends to get along at least a little bit, she wanted Drew to get along with all of them because he was extremely important to her, and it was important that they at least put up a brave face in front of one another. “I appreciate it.”
“I don't know,” she answered truthfully. She didn't want to, she really wouldn't mind spending a bit of time with her friends and Drew, but at the same time, she felt she should. “I want to go back in, just to spend time with you, but I don't know if I should.”
The wonderful part was there were only a few in the room, and Felicity got along fine with Tristan, Lucas, Alexander, and the Hufflepuff girl whose name she could never remember that had walked in just after Drew and Felicity had walked out.
“I mean, I am the only fifth year in there, and they all know I'm only there because we're dating.” It really didn't bother her, but in a way it sort of did. “But if you really do want me to go back in there with you, I will.”

The ironic thing was Felicity could call more of the people in the room friends than he could. He got along okay with Alexander, but they really didn't hang out any and he didn't know most of the others very well. The only ones he could rightfully call friends were Seanna and Tristan. Well, and apparently Lucas who insisted they were "mates".
"I told everyone they could ask someone else," Drew told her, wanting her to know that while it was a sixth year party, others had been included. It wasn't his fault he was the only one who askede another. In all honesty, he was expecting Krissy too, since he heard a rumor that she and Alexander were an item. "So what if you're only there because we're dating. It's my party and I get to invite anyone I want to, right?"
"I do want you there," he assured her. "I wouldn't have asked you in the first place if I didn't." Of course, he didn't want Lucas there and Drew had invited him, but that was only because, as Felicity had pointed out, it would have been rude not to, so that didn't really count.

Alexander nodded his head trying to remember all that had just happened. He tried to catch his falling friend, only to trip over himself….stupid move….lost his wand, retrieved his wand, and it seemed the only one to see was Seanna herself. Standing up with her, he nodded his head. “Oh yes, I’m fine. Tripped over myself trying to help you not fall. Definitely wasn’t as smooth as I hoped it’d be.” Alexander laughed but his heart stopped when she asked about his wand.
“A towel rack you say? Well…I’ve been called worse,” again he tried to chuckle but it came out as a nervous sort of giggle, which again he wished he could kick himself for. “Oh? This?” he asked, gesturing at his wand and shrugging. What did he say? And if he said nothing, would she take it as he wasn’t thinking her trustworthy again? That had caused such a ruckus before, and Alexander really didn’t want to make it an issue again.
Alexander looked at Seanna’s questioning face and sighed. He really hated to lie, but it wasn’t as if he could really say that he was about to use it against someone if it came to that. It wasn’t like him, nor was even thinking such things. But if what he thought was true, he couldn’t allow it to happen any further either. “I was going to play a joke on Drew,” Alexander smirked and shrugged. “I didn’t really think of what I could do yet though. When You ran into me, I was looking around the room for a bucket to fill with water and levitate over the door. That way when he came through, I could dump it on him…” Alexander chuckled at his foolish lie. It was stupid…almost believable…and above all else, better than saying he was about to kick a Raven’s arse if he even touched Felicity wrongly.
“I mean…what else does one do to the host of a party, but pick on them first?” Alexander laughed as he yet again shrugged. “But, as you can see, I wasn’t sure about it to begin with. Stupid idea….Krissy’s probably rubbing off on me or something,” his hand stretched to behind his neck to rub it anxiously. His eyes drifted to the floor as he shrugged again and leaned back on the wall.
Putting the wand, and then the towel he had in his bag he carried with him, Alexander found that it was definitely time for a topic change. “So, speaking of Krissy…have you seen her today? I owled her about coming with me to the party, but I don’t know…” Alexander sighed and gave a half hearted smile. She’d been so busy preparing for graduating that he didn’t know what she was up to half the time. But such was the life of a seventh year, he supposed. Busy…busy…busy.

“But it's also your party for the sixth years Drew, everyone in there most likely knows I'm not in your guys' year. I mean, over half of them know I'm only a fifth year, and it can't be that hard for anyone else to tell.” But yes, he was right that it was his party, and technically he could invite who he wanted, but he also put on the shindig for specific people, not being her.
In all reality, she knew he wanted her to be there, otherwise he wouldn't have stopped her from trying to leave, not that Alexander had really helped that much in that particular department by being in her way. No, she didn't blame her friend, after all, he was such a sweet person, it was just he'd gotten in her way, though he had agreed to walk her back if that's what she wanted. At the time it was, right now, she didn't know.
Leaning back into Drew, she nodded her head slightly. She couldn't say it wasn't something he didn't want, especially when he was saying he did and she was sure he did. “I know,” she answered him.”I just misunderstood, again.”
She misunderstood a lot of things. She took what he said to mean one thing when he meant for it to be another. It was a large source of most of their problems, they just didn't understand the other.

Lucky for Caleb, he'd arrived at the party after the drama had begun. He was rather excited about the idea of a pool party, having been quite the fish since he was very young. The idea of not really knowing anyone there bothered Caleb slightly, but he figured this would be the best time to try and get to know more people around the school. The Hufflepuff only really knew Felicity and that was from quite the adventure they'd had on his first day in the castle. With a towel hanging over his shoulder, Caleb chuckled at the memory of that day and came upon the room where the party was being held.
However, a familiar face was still outside, talking to another boy, but she seemed rather wrapped up in him. Literally. Nearing the two, Caleb simply smiled at her as he passed and made his way to the door, waiting for it to appear and open.

A claw through and through. Guy grinned as she said this. He had thought so, and it was good to know that his guess had been right. He might not’ve been at Hogwart’s his entire school career, but it was getting easier to be able to categorize people into their respective house just by talking to them. Sometimes there were people who through you for a loop, but it was generally the same.
He nodded and said, “ Ha, yeah.. Gryffindor, home of the mighty and brave. “ He said in a joking voice.
Guy in fact didn’t notice Angel looking at Lucas, he had been too distracted by looking around. It wasn’t that he didn’t think the girl was interesting, it was just that there seemed to be a lot going on that he wasn’t sure what to do about it.

"I never thought that I'd at a pool party inside school grounds. It's just so odd, gotta love the room of requirement." Again she looked aroudn the room this time trying her best not to look at the other boy. How cool was it to be there indoors with a huge pool right in the middle of it. Hogwarts was just awesome couldn't be in a better place.
She saw him looking around the room as well and she smiled. "Just too cool. I just find it so weird we haven't really run into each other around the school. I don't remember seeing you in any of my classes." Perhaps that's because she spent most of her time in class with her nose buried in a book. Heck she spent all of her time with her nose buried in a book these days.
"Guess that might be because I haven't been all that social lately." She giggled such a girlish giggle, the kind she hadn't heard from herself in the longest time.

"Who cares if you're the only fifth year?" he asked, knowing that very few people would. And he would personally deal with anyone who had a problem with it. "They all had the chance to invite whoever they wanted and I want you."
More people were entering, the latest being another guy Drew recognized from classes, but really didn't know. Dang, had he really withdrawn so much that he didn't even know his classmates? "I think you know more people than I do here, actually," he told her.
All the more reason for him to leave if she still wanted to go. She had said she'd go back if he wanted her and he had told her he did, but she still hadn't confirmed she'd return to the party with him. "So, will you please go back in with me?" he asked, kissing the top of her head. He hoped that since it had been a misunderstanding, then there shouldn't be any problem with rejoining the party.

"I don't even really care if I am," she answered her boyfriend. It wasn't even that big of a deal, she just thought it felt a little bit awkward being it was an event for the sixth years and she was the only one that had been an invited guest so far, and she was younger. Other than that, everything was fine and dandy. Felicity got along with a number of those that were in attendance, and she was pretty sure she didn't dislike any of the sixth years other than that one Slytherin that wasn't even there yet, so she figured it probably was just a ridiculous thing to keep bringing it up. "I know you said they could all invite someone," she told him and smiled as she looked up at him. "But I'm glad you want me."
Actually, even if he hadn't invited her but had invited someone else and heard about it, she'd probably be pretty mad, and mostly at him. Unless his best mate had been in a different year, then that was different, but Hiro was in his year. She thought it awfully funny he said she knew of the sixth years that were there than he did. If he was in their year, in attendance of a good chunk of classes, then shouldn't he know a good number of the students? It only made sense to the blonde.
Seeing a familiar face pass by, Felicity smiled and waved slightly at the boy, wondering whether Drew knew him or not, but before she could catch him to actually talk to him Drew had taken her attention back.
Nodding her head a little, she tilted her head back again so she could look up at him. "I all ready said I would. That if you wanted me to I would, and you do, so I will."

Waiting for the door, Caleb couldn't help but overhear the conversation behind him. As the door finally appeared for the boy, he opened the door and held it for the two of them. "You guys coming in?" Caleb asked with a smile, motioning his hand to the open door.

"Okay then," Drew answered, leaning in for a quick kiss. He probably wasn't going to get the chance once they got back in the room, so he thought he'd take it then, not noticing the boy was still in the hall until he spoke. So much for avoiding the PDA.
"Yeah, just a sec," Drew called back to the other sixth year, grinning in response before turning back to Felicity. "So, we're okay, right?"

Accepting the small kiss, she nodded in agreement that everything seemed all right. While there were still a few things she didn't understand, she figured it didn't matter unless it was brought up again. And while she still didn't like that thought, that it felt like they were burying everything, she was willing to play along for now.
And when she heard Caleb call out to them, she nodded again in agreement with Drew. It was awfully nice of him to hold the door open for them, though it meant actually having to go back to the party with so many thoughts still running through her mind. It wasn't all that bad, but she still wasn't so sure about going back, but at least Alexander, Lucas, the Hufflepuff girl, and now Caleb were there. Hopefully something would take her mind off of things.
Turning her attention back to Drew, she nodded, yet again. Sure they were all right, weren't they always in the end of all things? Even when they got mad, they tended to get through things, even if it didn't happen right away, and even if things still didn't feel like they were gotten through fully, she figured they would eventually be.
Pulling back from blue-eyed Ravenclaw, she slipped her hand through his and started walking toward Caleb with a smile on her face. Whether forced or not, she figured it should be in place. Smiling got you through things, that's all she really had to remember, that and Drew said he still liked her.

As was often the case, Drew followed Felicity, happy to let her pull him along by the hand. It wasn't that he minded taking the lead, but he really liked having her hand in his. Whether or not her smile was forced, he couldn't tell, but his was wide and genuine and as they caught up to the Huffle, Drew offered his free hand to the other boy in greeting.
"Thanks for holding the door. I don't think we've properly met," he said. "Drew Thornton, Ravenclaw. Glad you could make it."

Caleb nodded at the girl as she passed through the door he held. So she was taken, huh? Pity. Caleb had sort of fancied her when they'd met, but he should have known a girl like her would already had a boyfriend. And it was right at that moment that the boyfriend introduced himself. "Caleb Walker," the Hufflepuff told him, his hand reaching out and shaking the boy's, "Hufflepuff. Nice to meet you."
