"Yes, thank you, Caleb," Felicity greeted the boy more properly when she and Drew reached the door. It was very sweet of him to hold the door for the two of them, polite, sweet, and nice. Her smile was still on her face and she was sure there was only one person that would be able to distinguish her smile from any other, just because of the amount of time she had spent smiling around the boy years before.
As the two sixth years shook hands, Felicity kept her hand in Drew's and waited for the two to be ready to actually enter the room. Since the blonde was still attached to the six-foot something Ravenclaw, and she didn't really want to let go, she couldn't really walk in without him in tow behind her which would have been rude to make his introduction abruptly end.

Guy nodded, the room of requirement was definitely one of the more interesting rooms in all of Hogwart's. The magic of the room itseld was enough to marvel at. Guy couldn't remember if he had ever been there before, but it was amazing to be there now. " Yeah, it's pretty brill, I like how it can be absolutely anything. " He said with a light shrug and a smile. It was true, the room could be anything you want it to. What an amazing feat, even for a room in as magical a place as Hogwart's.
" Yeah, I haven't been the most social either, so no worries. " He gave a half smile and a chuckle because usually he was pretty social, talking and having a laugh with whoever, but he hadn't been recently. He had missed seeing Vanessa all the time and spent a lot of time on his music and lessons and everything such as that.
Her girlish giggle made him crack a grin at her. It had been a while since he had heard a girl giggle like that, for him especially. It was wierd sometimes. " Well, no time like the presence to start being social, eh? " He mentioned lightly.

"I was just about to start up the grill, but we've got snacks and drinks set out already," Drew told the Hufflepuff, nudging Felicity in to the room ahead of himself as entered. The guy didn't seem as putzy as most of the other Huffle guys Drew knew, which was a good thing. "And I think... "Oi! Howard!" the Ravenclaw called out over his shoulder the the Gryffindor who had hollered at him earlier. "You still starting up a dogeball game?"

He looked behind him and saw Drew calling him and asking about him. He then nodded with an evil grin. He then then swam over to the stairs and got out. Dripping wet from his hair to his toes, to the ground. He was holding something behind his back. "I suppose, you ready to play?" he said as he threw a blue dodgeball towards Drew, then Tristan ran and jumped into the pool and stayed under, then rising to see the results.

Being nudged, or pushed, into the room wasn't really something Felicity was too pleased about, but she figured it didn't really matter as there was no need to keep the door open and blocking the way into the party anyway. And as soon as Drew had gotten her in the room, and started talking to Tristan, Felicity dropped the boy's hand in order to go talk to Alexander, but her slight hesitation only gave time for a large blue thing to fly at her. Thankfully she was inclined enough to catch it before it hit her.
Felicity didn't know what dodgeball was, other than it sounded like something fairly simple enough, you dodged the ball...but before she could even ask or had a half a chance to toss the ball back, Tristan had flung himself back in the water.
Turning questioning brown eyes all around, she wondered who she should ask about it. Drew who was right behind her, or Tristan who was in the water waiting for some kind of reaction.
"What's dodgeball?" she asked to no one in particular.

"You're so right, now's just as good a time as any to be more social. Though I have to stop being so shy first." She flipped her hair a bit the locks flying back and forth a little behind her back and when she stopped they fell into place behind her. Smooth as silk that's what it felt like when she proceeded to run her hands right through it.
"The place is getting packed lots of new people showing up, I don't think I've seen half of them before. She looked around the room several unfamiliar faces though they all looked friendly enough. One boy was in the pool, he came out for just a bit and went right back in, he was having a blast. Then she heard Felicity ask what's dodge ball. The word clicked and Angel smiled almost laughing. Turning to the pretty blonde she said, "Oh that's a muggle game, basically there are two teams, and a ball. The object is a member of one team throws the ball at a member of the opposite team trying to hit them. If you get hit with the ball you're out, you need to doge the ball at all cost. It's fun but that ball can hurt."
Angel shocked herself because that was the most she had ever spoken to anyone in quite sometime. She blushed a little, "Sorry I just heard you ask so I thought I'd answer."

Seanna wrinkled her nose up at Alexander in slight distaste and a little bit of disbelieving as well. No, she really didn't think much of the other boy's proclamation of playing a joke on Drew, nor did she really believe that was the story of why Alexander had his wand out. Seanna usually read people pretty well, and the slight hesitation and shrug that the other boy gave to her told her that something was missing from the story.
"Well, I'm glad you were only thinking of doing it and didn't do it yet" Seanna began, not wanting to go into another conversation of not trusting him, even though she really did have doubts about the story Alexander was telling her. "You would've needed to be very good in the art of ducking or hiding, if you had decided to go with that idea" Seanna told Alexander, raising her eyebrow at him and eliminating Drew's name in case of prying ears.
Seanna knew that Drew was quick on his feet with a wand and anything that was coming towards him probably would've came flying back to the spell caster just as quick, and she knew that Alexander was not so quick on his feet and the dodgy story he told her had somewhat proved her theory. "You probably would've been better surprising him by pushing him into the pool" The Huffle continued. A surprise attack on someone was much better than not a very good well thought out wand attack.
"I could help you if you want with a plan and working out stories as well, to get you out of trouble" Seanna quipped, a smirk playing on her face, letting Alexander know that she didn't believe him, but deciding a pool party wasn't a very good place for a argument on trust, not when she was here for fun. Plus, playing a prank on the host did seem like a good idea, but only in the name of fun and not in the name of... well, whatever Alexander was thinking of doing.
Seanna had to giggle when Alexander said that Krissy was rubbing off on him, Krissy had probably rubbed off on almost all of the Hufflepuff's, herself included. Though, the giggle faded when he asked if she had seen Krissy around. Seanna hadn't seen much of Krissy at all, only sometimes at breakfast and dinner. "No, I haven't seen Krissy today" The Huffle told him, catching the last bit of Alexander saying that he had asked Krissy to the party, but not sure what to think about that.

“Nah, you’re right. Probably wouldn’t go over too well, now would it?” Alexander shrugged as he watched Felicity, followed by Drew entering the room. Everything seemed to be…well, fine for the moment, though the smile that Felicity wore upon her face was one that he had seen all too many times after her brother had died in the car accident. It was forced as though she was trying to keep strong again. Alexander knew Drew had talked her into staying…and as much as he couldn’t do anything about it, it still upset Alexander. Felicity was his friend, had been for the past seven years…he’d do anything for her.
Turning his attention back to Seanna his face faded a bit from his own forced smile as she spoke of Krissy. Alexander knew she was busy and tried not to mind it much, but he missed her. He sighed and shrugged. “Ah, well…if she shows she does…if not…well, what can you do about it, right?” Alexander shrugged, glad to at least have Seanna there, but felt bad still about their rockiness. He hadn’t meant to keep things from her, and he didn’t really know if his eventual explanation of his skin condition helped it any.
Alexander caught sight of a blue ball fly through the air, just barely hitting Felicity. Alexander felt another protective twinge sting through his body, but as per the norm, Felicity seemed pretty much unphased by the ball almost hitting her head. She asked around what dodgeball was and Alexander instantly was back in America in his memories of horrible such games. Yea, no thanks…he’d sit that one out for sure.
“I’m going to go and speak with Felicity for a moment, Seanna…I’ll be back, ok?” he gave her an apologetic look for leaving her, but also for lying to her. He almost wondered why she put up with him sometimes, especially since she felt that he needed to be more open with her. Couldn’t a guy have secrets?
Patting her on the shoulder as he passed he nodded his head. He’d be right back…but after he found out that everything was alright with Felicity.

Drew instinctively reached out for the dodgeball, but Felicity had the faster hands and the Ravenclaw smiled, a little impressed. Dodgeball was a Muggle game, but Felicity had grown up Muggle so there was only one other reason he could think of as to why she wouldn't know the school-yard game.
"I think it's a mostly Amercian game," he explained. "Pretty much played like it sounds. The ball is thrown and you have to dodge it... or better yet, catch it and throw it back." He knew that there were actual rules and teams, but he had never learned them, only ever playing the grade-school version where you stood in a circle, half the class inside and half the class around the perimeter. He had come over to Hogwarts before he had to endure gym classes so had never gotten the pleasure of the real version.
"So, Howard, you going to tell us how to play?" he asked, once the Gryffindor prefect resurfaced.

As the girl answered, Felicity had to bite back a comment about the hint of laughter on the girl's voice, was it really her fault if she didn't know a game? Or perhaps she still hadn't calmed down enough from talking to Drew? The blonde was willing to bet the latter, which was what kept her mouth shut. And while the girl sounded a bit like a memorized encyclopedia, she decided not to comment on that either, especially when she'd apologized for answering. Felicity had asked a question, without directing it to anyone in particular, so technically the girl had no reason to apologize, and Felicity merely tilted her head slightly. It'd just dawned on her she'd said it was a muggle game. If that was so, why hadn't she heard of it before?
And no, the brown-eyed girl wasn't about to comment on being muggle born herself, something she was trying better to keep quiet about. Thankfully Drew saved her from that bit of confusion by explaining it was an American sport. She didn't feel quite so bad for not knowing it after that.
Seeing Alexander walking towards her, she tried to shift her own attention over to the boy, but she felt a bit awkward doing so. The ball was still in her arms, she couldn't very well pass it off to Drew since he'd said something about starting to cook, and she kind of sort of wanted to do something and playing dodgeball would probably keep her preoccupied. But in order to play, she had to hear the rules first.
So, keeping the ball in her arms, Felicity glanced over at Alexander and hoped he wouldn't mind if she listened to how to play the game first, or perhaps talk quietly so she could hear both him and the rules of the game.

Angel kind of felt awkard now after answering. Felicity sort of gave her look as if she wanted to say something to her. Angel hoped that she hadn't said anything negative or anthing like that. As she stood there she tried to go over her answer but didn't seem to think she had said anything wrong. Angel felt another blush creep up her cheeks. She didn't want to let it get to her, but the whole thing was starting to become rather daunting. It was hard enough being in a room full of people she hardly knew, bu it was hard enough thinking you might have offended someone everyone else seemed so fond of when you hadn't meant to. Perhaps, she was still suffering the effects of her tiff with Drew, maybe that's why she seemed as if she might be upset. Angel took that into consideration and started to feel better just slightly better.
Drew steppned in and finished letting her know that dodgeball was an American game. Angel was about to nod but chose not to she had done enough already and really didn't feel like having another awkward moment.
Kind of cowering a bit behind Guy Angel looked around the room thinking once more that maybe she should just go back to the common room, at least there people didn't give her looks or make her feel out of place.

Once he was resurfaced and asked the question, he just raised an eyebrow. "Ugh, heh, heh," he said nervously, as he swam to get out of the pool. As he got out, and the water dripping everywhere, he walked towards another dodgeball that was on the ground and picked it up. "Well, Dodgeball is easy. I learned it in "Muggle" school. So, basically. They are 6 balls. Three on each side of the center line. Once you hear the whistle then you must run to the balls and pick them up as fast as you can. Then you must pick it up and run back to your line then start to eliminate the other players, and you elimante by throwing the ball and hitting the opponent,"
"If you get hit, your out. But if one of your teammates catches a dodgeball from the other team, your allowed back in. Only one player though. Basically that's it." he said nodding.

"I'm out for this round, but definitely the next one," Drew answered, knowing his duties lay with the grill at that moment. A game did sound like a good idea though, a perfect way to the previous awkwardness (which he seriously hoped not too many people noticed).
"I got burgers, sausages, veggie-kabobs, and organically grown chicken breasts," Drew announced, knowing some of the sixth years were particular about what they ate. The plan was to cook each choice on a separate corner or the grill to avoid any cross contamination. Wouldn't want those dogs ruined by veggie juice after all. He just hoped he got everyone covered one way or another. "Anybody have preferences?"

Guy felt himself nodding again and had to remind himself to stop it so much. He was going to look like one of those bobble-head dolls if he didn’t stop soon. The thought made him give a half grin in perfect time after Angel’s comment. “ Eh, shyness can be something to get over. I’m usually not this.. anti-social and all, dunno what’s overcome me. “ He said with a half shrug of his shoulders.
He too took a quick glance about the room as she mentioned more people showing up. “ Ah, I know some of them from classes and all, but nothing really personal I don’t think. “ He told her, and was about to ask if she wanted a drink or something when it appeared that she overheard Felicity say something and had responded to her query. He was a little confused from having not heard what the fifth year had asked, but he took it that it was something to do with the game. He had only played it once or twice before and found it a pretty comical game, especially, he imagined, in the water.
Guy offered a quick smile to the Ravenclaw because now that she had spoken to Felicity, she seemed a little embarrassed. “ Hey, want a drink or somethin’? “ He offered to her. Turning to Drew after he heard him talking, he said, " Eh mate, I'll take a burger, thanks. "

Seanna nodded, her eyes following Alexander's gaze over towards the door where Felicity and Drew had both just came through. The stunt Alexander had planned on doing probably wouldn't go down too well, but she didn't seem no harm in pushing someone into the pool. After all, it was a pool party and eventually someone had to wind up getting wet, but all in the name of fun. Brown eyes traveling, she looked over to the pool and noticed that only Tristan was mucking around in it so far, everyone else seemed to be lost in their own conversations. Later on, she might hop into the pool herself, but for the moment, there were other things distracting her.
Seanna's brown eyes traveled back to Alexander's face when he mentioned about Krissy not showing and what can you do about it. Frowning slightly, she noticed that his face seemed to pale and that he was upset about Krissy not coming... making her think that something had happened between the two of them and she had missed it. Sure, Seanna wouldn't have minded if Krissy had came along either, it would've been fun if she was there, but she wasn't upset over it, she knew Krissy was awful busy these days.
Seanna was about to ask Alexander what was going on, when he mentioned that he was going over to speak to Felicity, but that he'll be back and she swallowed up her question. Nodding at Alexander when he walked past, the girl frowned up at him unable to hide her lack of uncertainty about him. Seanna didn't mind that he was leaving her, that gave her a chance to go and say hello to other people, she didn't mind that he had lied to her, it was just the secrets she did mind for secrets always had a way of being found out. Seanna just felt it was better to be truthful before someone else told her the truth and embellished it to be more than it seemed.
Getting up from her knees, Seanna stretched out her legs a little before walking over to where Drew was over by the barbecue. "Do you need any help?" Seanna asked, giving him a small smile. The Huffle would've gone over to see Felicity with Alexander, but looking over she had spotted the other gryffindor girl and heard about the game that some of them were talking about. Getting hit by a ball to her didn't sound like much fun, plus, it wouldn't do her no good to join in, Seanna was hopeless in all sports bar Quidditch.
