"I'M LA-- burgers?" Charlie zoomed up into the room of requirement. She was getting bad at meeting appointments, but she had to take her time this time, it seemed. She had been looking everywhere for her usual swim tank and trunks, buried beneath the rubble and wasteland of stupid clothes that Charlie had neglected to toss out. And no matter what charm and spell she used, she couldn't get the tank to fit below her bellybutton. Again, in comparison to the year before, the bottom of the tank traveled once more, once more emphasizing the fact that she had had the swim suit since she was thirteen. She hated it, but if she wanted to make it to this pool party without just wearing her birthday suit, then this would have to be the best choice.
"Sorry I'm late, I don't know where Hiro is," Charlie shrugged as she once again threw the towel over her shoulder, but while she apologized, her stomach complained. She laughed sheepishly.

Jade shrugged to Drew. "Whatever," she said cheerfully. She wanted to lay around and be lazy for a bit. She really wasn't hungry just yet, plus she could sometimes be a messy eater and it would be a shame to mess up her bikini, although she was sure the Room could fix it, or at least provide a new one if she needed it. She leaned back and surveyed the room. The party seemed fine, but she could tell everything wasn't as perfect as it could be. But hey, it wasn't her problem.

Turning her attention to Alexander, she shrugged slightly and then nodded. "I guess so. I mean, we talked, so I think everything is. At least for now. If not, we'll talk about stuff later. He doesn't want me to go, so I said I'd stay." Sighing, she hoped Alexander wouldn't mind that she'd asked him to do something and then changed her mind about it. Then again, he should be used to her constant mind-changing, how often did she do it over the last few years? "But we did talk, and that makes things better, right?" Alexander wasn't so sure and he crossed his arms slightly. He wasn't her father and he wasn't about to tell her what to do, but he wasn't about to lie to her either. "I don't know, Felicity....it's your call." Alexander shot a glare over to where Drew was but sighed knowing that again, it wasn't his business nor was it his place. "I'm glad everything is alright." Alexander stretched his arms above his head and looking around. He found a free seat and looked back over at Felicity. "I'm going to go put my stuff down...I'm not really hungry or anything." He shrugged and turned toward the seat, wondering where Krissy was. Maybe she wasn't coming; he sighed.

"He should be here," Drew answered, bitting back a tease about Charlie's exposed midsection. As tempting as it was, he had learned his lesson from bugging her about it the previous year.
"And I made sure he had a decent suit this year," he added. It might have seemed an odd thing for him to do for another guy, but Alhana had kind of promsied Hiro and since she wasn't around, Drew figured it was up to him. If Hiro felt weird about it, he didn'thave to wear the trunks.
"Burger?" he offered Charlie, noting that no one seemed to be too concerned about the food. Ah well. Maybe he'd get to join Tristan's game after all.

Her call? it was indeed her call, and she was willing to say things were all right. Drew and she talked about it, if things weren't all right, then they would talk about it more later or the next day. That was all there was to it. Of course, it was possible this was one of those quick fix things and it wasn't really good, but at the moment things were fine. So, that was what mattered, wasn't it?
But she could tell Alexander didn't believe her, not in the least bit. Which was bothersome. However, since he was willing to play along, Felicity nodded when he said he was going to put his stuff down. That was fine, maybe Tristan would start the game. That would give her something to do.
"Alexander?" she asked before he got to far away. "Could you take my sweatshirt, too?" If it was with the Hufflepuff, she knew it wouldn't get lost or left behind. Slipping it off, she handed it over to the boy and did her best to cover her stomach with the ball in her hands.
"So, Tristan, are we going to play?"

"If you guys want. Form your teams," he said. He was pretty much dozed out. He then picked up a dodgeball. "Alright! This is gonna be very weird. But I got the perfect idea!" he said as he walked towards the middle of the pool, from the outside. He then threw 6 dodgeballs in the middle, and casting a spell to align them in a perfect line.
"Okay," he said as he started to raise his voice so everyone could hear perfectly. "The game will always consist of two teams. Basically, get the ball and run and hit the other team and they are out. It's easy. When we say GO! Everyone jump in the pool, to get a dodgeball, and if you want a better chance of winning, you might want to exit the pool. But you have to be on your side."
"Hopefully, you don't mind these Drew," he said as he drew a line from the middle of the room, to the otherside of the room. "Pick your side. When we say GO! Grab a dodgeball and start throwing!" he said.
"Alright, who's playing?" he asked. He hopefully everyone got that clear.

Alexander was worried about his younger friend. He had known her for seven years and had gotten to see her at some of the worst of times anyone could befriend someone, but at the same time he was grateful for it. Though they had been young, Alexander thought that there friendship was at least somewhat strong. They could tell when each other were not telling the truth, and when each of them were stretching it to make things better. Hadn't she done that so many times before to him just that winter when new information was found out about the case?
"Yea, no problem," Alexander said taking the blond's sweat shirt and throwing her an encouraging smile. He hoped everything was really ok, even though he was sure Felicity could take care of herself. She had for those years they had known each other....even if it was through pure obliviousness and dumb luck.
Alexander turned and walked over to the free seat he had seen near the opposite side of the pool where every one had avoided and was not about to throw dodge balls. That would just be his luck....get hit by a dodge ball or something when he wasn't even playing.

Smiling her thanks to Alexander, Felicity turned to listen to Tristan's explanation of the game. She wasn't sure how it was played, but it didn't sound too hard and she thought she would be able to figure it out pretty well with no problems, just play by example. With six balls in the middle of the pool, Tristan continued talking about how it was going to go down. They had to jump into the pool to get the balls and then they threw the balls at each other to get another person out. It sounded pretty self-explanatory.
When he asked who was playing and on what side, Felicity slightly rose her hand to show she was more than willing to participate. Whether she was to be on Tristan's team or otherwise she would leave up to another. Even if it was just she and Tristan playing, it meant she'd be on the opposite side. No problems.
Looking around, she waited to see who all else was going to play. Hopefully others would just to make the game a little more fun.

Jade did not especially want to play this game, seeing as it seemed to involve getting hit with wet balls, but she wanted to make an effort to be social for once. This game was probably the best way to be social since no one really seemed to want to talk to her. She pulled off her sarong and stood to join in on the game. "I'm in," she said brightly. She would put herself out there and maybe get a bit wet, but she would try her hardest to have fun and maybe after awhile she wouldn't have to try so hard. She really hoped more people would join, though. Two against one really was not fair, no matter how the teams were set up.

No one really seemed interested in the food, but that didn't bother Drew. It just meant more for him. It was all cooked and if anyone else wanted some they could get it, but for now he wanted to join the game.
"I'm in!" he shouted before shoving a whole burger in his mouth and pulling off his shirt as he ran for the edge of the pool. As his toes hit the edge of the deck, he did a lopsided flip in the air, crashing into the water and sufficiently splashing anyone within a five meter radius.
