Celina's eyes grew wide at the thought of discussing all the people she had met with Alfonz. One boy in particular flashed in her mind, and she found herself ducking into her own drink and gulping down a few gulps avoiding the gaze of both her brother and Drew's. Alfonz wasn't normally on edge this much, what was wrong with him? The girl's name hit a nerve or something and Celina knew that that meant something, but maybe she too was someone who had crossed his path the wrong way. But Drew didn't sound as if she was a bad person...what was going on?
Then Alfonz turned himself loose on Drew and Celina couldn't take anymore. "Alfonz?!" she cocked her head and looked at him in disbelief...."what is wrong with you?" she whispered to him, glancing at Drew and trying to smile as if trying to tell him that this wasn't normal.
The waiter came over, and put down the glass in front of him and looked at her. "Another, ma'am?" Celina nodded and the waiter went off again to get another butterbeer for her. Then she turned her gaze back to Alfonz.
"Would he be here if he wasn't supposed to be?" She questioned Alfonz, but before giving him any time to answer she turned to Drew. "Sit with us?" She asked him, not really knowing if that was such a good idea or not but at the same time...not really caring.

Drew wasn't sure where the attitude had come from, or what it's purpose or reasong had been, but Drew didn't care for it much.
"I'm seventeen," he answered Alfonz, though his expression made it clear that he didn't feel like he really had to. "I'm meeting my sister." Celina's brother really didnt need any more informatin than that, did he?
"I'll leave you to your evening then," he said, deciding it was time to back off. "Celina, I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Now look at what you've done, Alfonz?!" she hissed at him over the table as Drew was leaving. She no longer cared if Drew heard her or not when talking with Alfonz. "I told you what happened was over and that he was a good person. Why are you always so mean to people..." her last statement a wine of sorts as she got up from the table to go and grab Drew. Or at least that was her intentions anyways, as the waiter came back and handed her her drink.
"It's best if you remain seated, young lady." The waiter's glare on her was intense and she backed off a bit, sitting back down in her seat and looking toward Alfonz with a scowl on her face. "Alfonz, you're horrible," she said pushing herself into a corner and crossing her arms. And what was with that waiter? Celina didn't even want to know.

A bit of bite from his sister, and Alfonz's eyes grew wide. When did she become so defending of others? Let alone of people that she had once told him that had been against her. "Celina, I know what you told me, but there is no reason for you to be fratinizing with him. None at all. Haven't I always told you that people are nothing but tools to be used?"
Everyone had their own use. Their own purpose in life and Celina would one day realize this. "In the end, your friends will be the ones who leave you behind. You will only have family....you will only have me. Do you think that boy is anything that could protect you?"
She crossed her arms and leaned in the corner of the booth. Bending in he silently said to her, "Celina, my dear sister, one fight leads to many. As as much as you may think as me of horrible or hate me now, you'll know that I'll always love and care for you. And ultimately protect you." he said no more placing a nice sized tip on the waiter's try for stopping his sister. It was good to have connections.

A tear rolled down her cheek. This night had been so unfair, and the one good thing that could have made the night better and Alfonz had to shoo him away. "It's just you don't know him...he wouldn't be like that. And mum told me to make friends." She turned to him and glared, leaving the tear on her cheek as it continued making it's way down to the table. She watched as he tipped the waiter and looked back to her.
"No wonder he stopped me..." she said disgustedly. "Alfonz, why can't you trust me as much as I trust you..." she trailed off looking back to where Drew had traveled. "I know that you will always be there...but...." she looked around, grabbing her drink slightly. "I just don't understand why you have to be so ruthless to people you don't even know. He's not that bad...." then a light baulb of sorts when off in her head.
"And what about this Shay girl? Who is she? Is she a friend?" Celina dared not ask anymore questions or say anything more, in fear of upsetting Alfonz more that night. She still had to go home with him, after all.

"Stop your crying," Alfonz said sternly as he rolled his eyes. "He's nothing, plain and simple. And as for Shay, I told you...another time." He looked at her and could see how disgusted she was with his answer.
"He stopped you because I asked him to, nothing more, nothing less. Celina you must realize that contacts are a great things to have, and mum was right about that. You can make contacts, however, without making friends. I've done it. And I am not ruthless. I am realistic. These people I don't know can't give me anything, and by walking away he proved then that he can supply you with nothing, nor could he supply me." Alfonz crossed his arms, and watched another tear fall from Celina's eye.
"I won't have this, Celina. There's no reason for your tears here. None, whatsoever."

Allegra sashayed into the pub, a pair of matching shopping bags in her hands. She had never been much of clothes horse, but every so often she found something that she just had to have. A set of forest green robes with subtle beaded accents, perfect for semi-casual gatherings and guarenteed to bring out the color of her eyes.
She caught sight of her brother, moving across the room and not looking very pleased, when she followed the path he had taken and saw the booth in the corner. She wasn't sure why Drew was scowling. Allegra knew both people seated there and didn't see a problem. She made a quick detour to say hi, deciding it would be rude not to before she joined Drew.
"Hey there!" she greeted, grinning at Alfonz. The way Shay acted after seeing him, Allegra knew her roommate was pretty smitten. "Hi Celina! How are you doing?"

"Legra!" Drew hissed, seeing his sister coming in and where she was going. If he had had his choice, he would have had a nice conversation with both Jedyneks, maybe talk a little quidditch and get to know Celina's brother, but no, the guy had to be a jerk. How the heck did Celina end up so different?
"Legra!" he hissed again, punctuating his call with a pound of his fist on the table top. Of course she wouldn't listen to him though. He would always be her dumb little brother, wouldn't he?

Celina noticed the 'hi' that Allegra gave and quickly rubbed her eyes and stretched slightly as if she had been tired. By rubbing them, it'd look like she'd have an excuse for them being red and somewhat moist. Plus, her robes abosorbed what tears were left and after she was done, she quickly took a sip of her butterbeer hoping to Merlin that Alfonz would be politer to the other Thornton.
Please, be nicer... she pleaded at him with her dark eyes. As she was acknowledged by Allegra, she pulled away from her glass and smiled as brightly as she could. No one would be able to tell anything was wrong....right? "Hi, Allegra." Celina could hear the sounds of Drew hissing from his table and she quickly snuck an apologetic glance at him. She hoped that her brother's behavior would ruin their friendship. It always seemed something tried. She then looked at her brother, hoping he would acknowledge the woman's existence at least.

"Ah, Miss Thornton, what a pleasure to see you again." Alfonz tipped his head, still remembering the last time the two had done more than just briefly pass each other by in the hall. "It's been a while. The party if I remember correctly?" He smiled, what seemed genuinely and looked at Celina's pleading eyes. There was no reason to be harsh or cold to Shay's roommate. If anything, she was her friend, and as many friends tended to do with females, Alfonz knew the power over one's persuasion they had. Another reason he wanted Celina to stay clear from anyone who would call her a friend. Why have them persuade her? And so far in her development? No. He wouldn't have it.
Speaking to Celina, Alfonz said, "Yes, we met actually a few weeks ago. She told me all about your house and it's quidditch team." His smile remained as Celina's started to fade a bit. He tipped his glass to his lips, a smile curling on them. Not one of pleasure or genuine, but one Celina knew all to well. Usually though, triumph over a truth he had found, wasn't one she hadn't been saying.

All of a sudden she couldn't believe what her brother was secretly alluding to. His smile told of the dreaded truth she had kept hidden so long. "Yes, quidditch? That's excellent." She spoke to the both of them, but continued her gaze at her brother now scowling a bit. If he wanted to play such cruel games tonight, the Celina wasn't one to back down. When it came to Alfonz, she was the best match for him.
"But Allegra, I'm so hoping your break has started off well," she turned to the older, former, Raven and smiled. "Alfonz and I were just speaking of Drew, and how friendly we have become with one another. I was also telling him how you and Drew should come over and sit with us. That is, if you are not having a private dinner or something." Celina smiled, and kept her pleasant gaze on Allegra, as she could hear in the background the choking sounds of her brother swallowing the burning whiskey the wrong way. Celina tried not to giggle, as she knew he wouldn't expect that, and she stole another glance at Drew and smiled hoping he'd comply as well. This would be a fun night.
Now, anyways.

Allegra heard her brother calling her and she dismissed him with a wave of her hand, thinking he was being intollerably rude. Whatever had happened to upset him was probably his fault to begin with so he really had no right to be so crabby.
But Alfonz's manner put her a bit on edge, giving her the distinct impression that she was missing something. It was only 10 o'clock. Was Celina usually that tired looking this early?
"Shay's birthday," Allegra answered, remembering the night well and she gave an appologetic look to the younger girl. Yes, she had mentioned the Ravenclaw Quidditch team and had the distinct impression that she had said something she shouldn't have that evening.
She was determined to be friendly that night despite the tension that was in the air. No wonder Drew had left to return to the other table. She looked over her shoulder at him and nodded slightly, letting him know it was alright, noting that Celina was doing the same. Whatever had happened had occured between the two boys.
"We'd love to join you!" Allegra agreed, taking a seat next to Alfonz. Better she sit there than try to get Drew to, right? Her brother was still hissing at her but she waved him over, her face making it clear that she was staying where she was.

"Legra!" Drew growled again through his teeth, all but ignoring the waiter as he brought the order. What was his sister doing? Had he not made it clear that he didn't want to go over there? He glared at her as she waved him over, his face telling her that she needed to come over to where he was.
Her response was another look telling him to get over it and join them.
He answered with another look that clearly said no, she was to come join him.
She countered with another look that told him to move his butt and stop being a baby.
His look answered with a FINE but he wasn't happy with it... and by the way, he hated her for the rest of the day.
He did his best to gather everything, the sandwiches, the drinks, his packages and made his way over to the table, sitting down next to Celina and glaring at his sister.

He finally regained himself as the younger woman scooched into the seat right next to him. Alfonz found himself moving clearing next to the wall, glaring at Celina as the young Thornton boy joined them, a clear glare at his sister. Well, at least he wasn't the only one who wasn't enjoying this. "Celina, I thought you wanted to leave shortly?" He countered, a bit too late obviously, and as she smiled at him she shrugged as if to tell him that she had changed her mind. Eventhough that wasn't what she had thought at all.
He took another sip of his drink, and looked back and forth between his sister and the Thorntons. Bad night....very bad night. He had to come up with a counter move to his sisters....but at the moment, all he could think of was his drink.

"I don't want to leave anymore, big brother." Celina smiled at him and shrugged. Mischief planted all over his face as she placed her hand on Drew's forearm, and smiled at him. "Now we can all talk and have some fun," she nodded, and then turned her gaze at Allegra who she knew, since she didn't know what happened previously, would agree with her.
She had only been in London for a few days and looking at the bags Allegra carried and everything else that was going on, Celina found herself a bit curious. And then, another glorious move popped into her head. "So, Drew told us that you live in the apartments with Alfonz, Allegra. Where do you live there? Oh! And wouldn't it be great to all walk home together?" Her dark eyes were dancing, and her tone not as soft as usual. A turn well played, and as she looked at Alfonz, she just waited for him to play his next move.
