Celina could see that Drew wasn't pleased. Though, who would be. Alfonz was always like that, and lately the ravengirl found that it was ending in more duels than she had ever thought her older brother possible. She reached out to grab Drew's arm gently. She understood what was coming, but didn't want to admit defeat yet. "He really isn't that bad...he just is really cold toward people at first. It's like a security thing...you'll see....New Year's weekend when we go flying....he'll be so much nicer. I promise..." she trailed off, trying to catch Drew's eyes.
"You'll still go with us....right?" Celina felt as if she already knew the answer before it came. "Allegra....Drew....?" a whimper escaped her a bit, as she let her hand gracefully fall from where it had ended up, back to her side.

Allegra couldn't agree more with her brother and she quickly gathered their things, leaving the half-eaten sadwiches. The house elf could make them something once they got back to the apartment.
"Come over and visit us sometime, okay? We can talk about it then... iron out the details," Allegra answered the girl, feeling that it was a suitable response. She wanted to join them, but wasn't sure Alfonz wanted them along.

As Celina watch as Allegra hastily wanted to leave, her body language more than ever told Celina that she no longer wanted to be there. She too, invited the girl over to their apartment, and without an answer on the weekend plans, Celina could feel her heart begin to break slightly. "Oh," she whispered slightly, as she pushed the hair that wisped in front of her face from the cold winter breeze. "Alright."
Gentle but strong hands were felt on her shoulders, they squeezed tenderly. Instinctively, she leaned back into the wall of the mass behind her.

She had had enough time to talk. Alfonz strolled up behind his sister and listened as she asked them about the New Year's Weekend. He kept reminding himself, time and time again that it was Celina's weekend. New Year's in the sky and under the stars was her request. If she too, wanted the Thorntons, then so be it. He placed his hands on Celina's shoulders and she let herself fall into him. Did he miss something? He rose an eyebrow as he looked down at his sister, and then back up at the Thorntons.
"Your presence would be...." Alfonz hesitated for the right word. "...delightful, Miss. and Mr. Thornton. And, if you see Miss. Loire before I, do invite her as well." His hand, without him thinking, traced the cheek of his younger sister as he looked down into her eyes and smirked a bit. "We'll have our own little New Year's party...won't we?" He was calm, and almost normal. If anything, Alfonz was sure he scared himself, almost as much as he scared anyone around them.

Turning around at the mention of a party, she embraced her brother, her heart repairing itself. "Really?! Oh, how wonderful!" Celina exclaimed, also noting to herself that she would definitely have to find out more about this Loire woman that they had spoken about multiple times all night, but never explained. Turning back around, Celina ran over to Drew hugged him tightly and then over to Allegra and did the same to her.
Shy? You'd never think it. But Celina was so excited about the prospect of her brother actually allowing her to have a party with both her and his friends, astounded her. Celina was in a state of excited shock. Going back to her brother and hugging him again she repeated many 'thank you's' before turning back to the Thorntons. "So, like you said...we can plan out all the details...or whatever?" She clasped her hands together in front of her.

Maybe it was the previous events of the evening, but another sudden personality change in the Jedynaks disturbed Drew. He had kind of glossed over it before, but now it just made him want to get out of there faster. Celina was fairly normal when she was at school. Why was she so strange around her brother? The hug was nice and Drew smiled and hugged her back, but thought it was still a bit odd considering she had been pathetically whimpering just seconds earlier.
"Yeah... just tell us what day and time," Drew answered, helping his sister with the packages and steering the way towards the back door. Get out of there and get home. That was his priority.

"Oh, I don't know...I'm sure, we'll just see each other around," Celina really had no idea, and with her brother standing right behind her, she was a bit taken aback slightly on making any definite plans with the Thorntons. Alfonz's change of heart was just as sudden as him pulling his wand out on Roger and even though she loved Aflonz greatly, she knew there was still more talking that the two of them had to do before the new year's weekend. Good thing there was time in Celina's mind. She watched as the Thorntons were heading out, and Celina smiled, a bit. Had Alfonz really scared them that much?
"Ok, well....I guess we'll see you guys later." Celina raised her hand and gave a little wave as she raised her other hand and replaced her hood upon her head. Alfonz raised his color as he usually did, which hid half of his face and nodded slightly at the Thorntons. He wasn't being nice, just respectful of his sister.

He felt kind of bad, leaving her like that, but she was with her brother. It wasn't like Alfonz would let anything happen to Celina so there was no reason he couldn't get his own sister home where it was safe. "Later," Drew answered back, offering her a small smile over his shoulder. The apartments were right next door to one another. How could theynot run into each other?

Both Jedynaks watched as the Thorntons took their leave. Alfonz smirked a bit, knowing that they probably wouldn't show themselves often around where he lived, and in that bit of knowledge he took joy. Though, he did worry what would be said about him to Shay, but if anything that would only prove her worth more as well. "Shall we also, take our leave?" Alfonz asked his younger sister, rounding to her side and placing his hand on the middle part of her back.
She leaned into him and nodded as he lead them both outside of the door once more. They'd walk the way they came. The cool air and the night sky would clear their minds, and both Jedynaks knew they definitely needed clear thoughts of what else was to come.
